Patriot has announced the EP PRO-II SDXC card, their first UHS-II capable device and the newest addition to their portfolio of flash memory. The new EP PRO-II SDXC is designed to support the latest generation of high-performing mobile devices with high definition and ultra-high definition capabilities.


Patriot has announced the EP PRO-II SDXC card, their first UHS-II capable device and the newest addition to their portfolio of flash memory. The new EP PRO-II SDXC is designed to support the latest generation of high-performing mobile devices with high definition and ultra-high definition capabilities.

Patriot's new SD card ranges in capacity from 16GB to 64GB with read/ write speeds of up to 280MB/s and 250MB/s, which satisfy a broad range of use cases that require high throughput. In addition, the EP PRO-II SDXC line of SD cards are capable of recording video in 4K UHD and capturing pictures as well as other consumer and professional requirements for high resolution.

The EP PRO-II SDXC is backed by Patriot’s customer service and a five year warranty. It is also backwards compatible with mainstream SD 3.0 and SD 2.0 capable devices, allowing consumers to use their current products with the latest SD card technology.

Availability and Pricing

The EP PRO-II SDXC card will be available during the first quarter of 2015 with an MSRP of $119.99 to $199.99 depending on capacity.
