Patriot has announced the Gauntlet, an entry into the wireless storage solutions category which is currently populated with a device from both Seagate and Kingston. Patriot’s take is a little different however, while it supports up to five wireless users, and has apps for Apple and Android devices, and can offer passthrough Internet access, Patriot will offer the Gauntlet without a drive, so users may insert any 2.5" SATA drive they have on hand.
