Phison X1
The X1 SSD supports U.3 (15mm and 7mm options) for maximum pluggability with rack server/storage array manufacturers. It is also fully backwards compatible with the older U.2 slots.
The X1 SSD is a cost-effective, customizable platform that features more computing power and better energy efficiency, making it ideal for HPC, AI and hyperscale applications. It is specifically designed to eliminate bottlenecks while improving quality of service and is quoted to deliver 30% more in data reads compared to its competitors using the same power specifications. It is capable of providing insights and can produce data that can be used to research adaptive models in a range of industries like healthcare, education, and science.
For performance, it is quoted to deliver up to 7.4GB/s and 7.2GB/s in sequential reads and writes, respectively, as well as 1.75 million IOPS read and 470,000 IOPS write in random 4K speeds. The X1 also has advanced features like Power Loss Protection capacitors (pFail), End-to-End Data Path Protection, System Management Bus, TCG Opal 2.0, sanitize capabilities, and Crypto Erase.
