Today Pivot3 announced that as a company they are seeing record growth so far this year. Pivot3 is seeing record revenue (over twice so far this year compared to the last half of 2015) and they are seeing an expansion of both their customer and employee base, in part due to their acquisition of NexGen Storage earlier this year. Pivot3 is also announcing a new CFO appointment with Bill Stover.
Today Pivot3 announced that as a company they are seeing record growth so far this year. Pivot3 is seeing record revenue (over twice so far this year compared to the last half of 2015) and they are seeing an expansion of both their customer and employee base, in part due to their acquisition of NexGen Storage earlier this year. Pivot3 is also announcing a new CFO appointment with Bill Stover.
Pivot3 is currently seeing revenue that is growing at 100% annually. The company is claiming that it is adding products and solutions that set it apart from other hyperconverged vendors, such as their new vSTAC SLX featuring Quality of Service capabilities. Pivot3 is also appointing an industry veteran as their new CFO in Bill Stover. Stover worked at Micron for 18 years, including the period when the company acquired Texas Instruments. For the last 15 years at Micron, Stover was the vice president of finance and CFO. Stover was recently the CFO for the innovative albeit doomed solar panel manufacturing startup, Solyndra.
Pivot3’s achievements and accomplishments so far this year include:
- Increased revenue by 103% in the first half of 2016 compared to the second half of 2015
- Added more than 400 customers to the installed base
- Grew the Pivot3 team by more than 40%, adding capacity and talent in all areas of the business
- Successfully launched, sold and shipped vSTAC SLX, Pivot3’s first joint product integrating technology from its Feb. 2016 acquisition of NexGen Storage
- Was named as “HCI Product of the Year” by Storage Magazine and Integrator ICT, prominent UK and Middle East industry publications
- Launched Pivot3 on Lenovo System X Broadwell platforms to deliver strong price performance and multi-petabyte storage solutions via unified flash, hybrid and data storage platforms
- Certified Pivot3 on Cisco UCS B and C Series platforms to deliver a total virtualized IT infrastructure solution that unlocks enterprise capabilities in a small, efficient form factor
