Pogoplug, a cloud-storage service for mobile phones, is teaming up with Drobo to double the amount of free storage when you sign up–this week only. Initially capped at 5 GB, when a customer registers during the week of November 21st to the 27th, they will have 10 GB “free for life.”


Pogoplug, a cloud-storage service for mobile phones, is teaming up with Drobo to double the amount of free storage when you sign up–this week only. Initially capped at 5 GB, when a customer registers during the week of November 21st to the 27th, they will have 10 GB “free for life.”

Pogoplug provides expansion options for its users by allowing them to purchase additional cloud-based storage for a monthly fee; the 50 GB (Premium 50) and 100 GB (Premium 100) options are priced at $9.95 and $19.95 per month, respectively. Users can also host a private unlimited cloud by purchasing a Pogoplug box for a onetime fee; their remote access software is also available for $29 and includes unlimited licenses.
