QNAP has announced its QMobile app for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch. When used in conjunction with a QNAP Turbo NAS server, users can stream music, pictures, and videos from their home NAS server to their device from anywhere, over 3G and WiFi.
QNAP has announced its QMobile app for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch. When used in conjunction with a QNAP Turbo NAS server, users can stream music, pictures, and videos from their home NAS server to their device from anywhere, over 3G and WiFi.
The My Jukebox feature lets users remotely browse and use playlists stored on the NAS. iPhone users can upload photos to the Turbo NAS. The QMobile app can also remotely play compatible multimedia files.
In order to be compatible with the app, the Turbo NAS needs to have the V3.3 update which includes many new features including support for Mac HFS+ formatted external hard drives.
The QMobile app is available free in the app store.
