The Notification Center combines all system events/alerts via a single-app notification solution while the Security Counselor assesses and then recommends security settings so users can improve their NAS security. In addition, QNAP’s Hybrid Backup Sync (HBS) gives users the ability to back up NAS data to either another NAS or independent cloud storage for another level of data security. Snapshots are also supported, which helps to prevent ransomware attacks and accidentally deleting or modifying files.
Like all QNAP NAS solutions, the TS-431KX has access to the comprehensive, built-in QTS App Center, including:
- Surveillance Station allows for building a secure surveillance system
- Qsync automatically synchronizes files between NAS, mobile devices and computers
- Container Station allows importing or exporting LXC and Docker apps
- QmailAgent enables centralized management of multiple email accounts
- Qfiling automates file organization
- Qsirch quickly finds needed files
QNAP also offers companion mobile apps to remotely access NAS devices.
