Rocstor has announced two new external drive lines: The Blazer B7 Ruggedized and the Commander 2U3 hardware encrypted drive. Common features include USB 3.0 and FireWire 800 ports plus a choice between hard drives (HDDs) and SSDs.

Blazer B7


The Blazer B7 has a ruggedized aluminum and shock-absorbent casing.

Commander 2U3


The Commander 2U3 is physically similar to the Blazer B7; additionally, it features real-time hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption.

SSD Options
Rocstor is now offering an SSD option will all of its 2.5-inch external storage solutions. The available capacities are 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

Availability
The Rocstor Blazer B7 and the Commander 2U3 will be available at the end of February through Rocstor’s distribution and reseller channels with up to 256GB SSDs or 750GB 7200RPM hard drives. Pricing information has not been announced.
