SanDisk has announced various new products to their storage portfolio including two new microSDXC cards: the 200GB SanDisk Ultra UHS-I card, which is the industry’s highest capacity microSD card for use in mobile devices, and the company’s first high endurance microSDXC memory card built to withstand up to 10,000 hours of Full HD Video recording.

Ultra UHS-I and High Endurance Video Monitoring microSDXC/microSDHC cards
The 200GB SanDisk Ultra UHS-I cards are a premium card designed specifically for Android smartphones and tablet users, which combines the industry’s highest capacity with transfer speeds of up to 90MB/s. In addition, with SanDisk’s updated Memory Zone app, users will have more control over their mobile device's memory storage such as with the OptiMem app feature, which monitors the phone’s memory levels and informs users whenever the internal memory falls below a previously-defined number. When this number is reached, the OptiMem app feature will automatically transfer some of their old photos and videos to the user’s microSD card. The app is available from the Google Play store at no cost and is compatible with most Android-powered devices.
The new SanDisk High Endurance Video Monitoring microSDXC/microSDHC cards consumers to write and rewrite up to 10,000 hours (64GB model) of Full HD video recording and are designed specifically for dash cameras and home video monitoring systems. The high endurance card is also available in 32GB, which can endure upwards of 5,000 hours of Full HD recording.
The SanDisk High Endurance Video Monitoring cards are designed for durability as well, with the ability to withstand rain or snow or sitting on the dash of a hot car. The cards have been tested and proven to be shock and water proof.

Dual USB Drive and iXpand Flash Drive
SanDisk has also announced two new mobile memory solutions to aid consumers in managing and transferring content captured on their devices: the company’s first Dual USB Drive with Type C connector, and the 128GB iXpand Flash Drive for iPhone and iPad. Both new devices allow consumers to efficiently transfer content directly from a mobile device to a Mac or PC computer.
The new Dual USB Drive is equipped with a Type C connector on one end and a USB 3.0 on the other for fast and easy transfer between next-generation devices and PC or Mac computers and works with Type C connector works with the SanDisk Memory Zone app, which allows users to easily locate, organize, transfer and back up data. When connected, the Memory Zone app auto-launches. The new Dual USB Drive will initially be available in a 32GB capacity.
Now available in a 128GB model, SanDisk’s iXpand Flash Drive is designed to efficiently transfer photos and videos from iPhone or iPad to Mac or PC computers without having to use cables, pre-settings, and Internet connections, which removes the hindrance of data caps and bandwidth limitations. In addition, the iXpand Sync app is available on the App Store for the iPhone and iPad, allowing users to automatically sync, backup, and transfer their content. The iXpand Flash’s is compatible with non-native and PC-friendly file formats such as AVI, MKV and WMV67 when playing back videos and music.
iNAND 7132 Storage Solution
SanDisk has introduced the iNAND 7132 storage solution designed for use in flagship mobile devices. The iNAND 7132 storage solution is equipped with the company’s new iNAND Accelerator Architecture with SmartSLC technology, which is new storage architecture that quickly and intelligently responds on-demand to mobile users’ needs and provides better experiences to the most data-intensive applications. In addition, SanDisk indicates that the iNAND 7132 storage solution allows OEMs to build a new generation of high-capacity smartphones, tablets and connected devices that offer exceptional user experiences. The iNAND 7132 is also equipped with SanDisk’s 1Y nanometer 3-bit-per-cell (X3) NAND flash storage as well as SmartSLC technology. Combined, SanDisk indicates that they offer near single-level-cell performance when the user needs it with quoted sequential write speeds up to 1Gb/s.
In addition, SanDisk's new storage solution uses e.MMC 5.0+ specification as well as a sophisticated error correction hardware and software technology, which results in an improvement in endurance and responsiveness and reduces latency. This allows devices that use the iNAND 7132 storage solution to perform at high levels throughout their lifespan. SanDisk also notes that their iNAND 7132 helps to reduce performance restrictions for application developers, which makes way for new possibilities in mobile device design.

The Premium Edition 200GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card comes with a ten-year limited warranty and will be available worldwide in Q2 for $399.99.
The SanDisk High Endurance Video Monitoring microSDHC/microSDXC cards come with a two-year warranty and are priced at $84.99 and $149.99 for the 32GB and 64GB capacities, respectively. The cards will only be available in the United States at SanDisk.com initially and later at select retailers in Europe and South Korea.
The 32GB SanDisk Dual USB Drive with Type C connector includes a two-year warranty and will be available sometime in Q2.
The iXpand Flash Drive also features a two-year warranty and is available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities, priced from $59.99 to $149.99. The 128GB drive is available immediately at www.SanDisk.com and will available next month at leading retailers worldwide.
The iNAND 7132 storage solution is currently available in capacities up to 64GB.
