SanDisk today announced its Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-I card based on the newly-released SD 3.0 specification. The card features a proprietary SanDisk controller and achieves up to 45MB/s read and write performance.
SanDisk today announced its Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-I card based on the newly-released SD 3.0 specification. The card features a proprietary SanDisk controller and achieves up to 45MB/s read and write performance.
The Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-I is designed for use in DSLR cameras for burst shooting and HD video capture. The DSLR camera must be UHS-enabled to take advantage of the card’s read and write performance.
The card has UHS Speed Class 1 video class rating, with 10MB/s minimum. Other features of the card include an automatic error-code correction engine and advanced wear leveling. Additionally, the card is water proof, temperature proof, shock and vibration proof, x-ray and magnet proof.

The SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-I card is available now in 8GB – 32GB capacities for MSRP $109.99 to $349.99. It is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
