Seagate introduced their latest consumer storage product, the GoFlex Home Network Storage System. It can wirelessly access files and backup multiple computers when connected to a wireless router.

GoFlex Home is compatible with Windows and Mac and has Apple Time Machine support. In addition to wireless storage and backup, the GoFlex Home can stream photos, movies, and music to most DLNA devices.

The GoFlex Home has a modular design; the drive can be removed from the base station and upgraded without any tools. Users can add more storage or connect other devices such as a printer using the device’s USB port.

Seagate promises a quick and painless install; it requires just two cables and has a step-by-step installation tool.
The GoFlex Home is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities for MSRP $159.99 and $229.99, respectively.
