Synology ARM Performance Acceleration Technology Released

Synology is increasing transfer speeds for their ARM-based NAS systems with what they’re calling ARM Performance Acceleration Technology. The update is a free hot fix update that is part of the latest DSM release, 3.2-1955. Synology has seen ARM-based systems achieve up to an 18.8% gain in performance, while maintaining system reliability and stability.

The update is a free hot fix update that is part of the latest DSM release, 3.2-1955. Synology has seen ARM-based systems achieve up to an 18.8% gain in performance, while maintaining system reliability and stability. 

The DSM 3.2-1955 update also improves data transfer stability of USB 3.0 storage devices and the compatibility of iSCSI targets with ESXi servers.

The update is available now and can be downloaded via the DSM control panel or from Synology’s support site.
