By itself the DiskStation DS2411+ supports up to 36TB of internal space, but can double its available capacity to 72TB by pairing up with the DX1211 12-bay expansion unit. Currently the diskless version is selling for $1,699 from retailers such as Amazon, which isn’t that bad considering smaller 4-bay models like the DS411+II start at around $700.
