StorageReview’s unique Drive Performance Database will be updated soon to incorporate the latest figures from the new test system. Stay tuned for that update.
Regarding individual drive reviews, first up will be a look at WD’s Caviar RE2, the firm’s first drive to implement NCQ. Shortly after, we’ll turn our attention to the RE2’s competition, Seagate’s 400 GB SATA NL35. A bit further off will be Testbed4’s first SAS unit, the Cheetah 15K.4. Check back for more!
