Toshiba America has announced new additions to the enterprise capacity hard disk drives, the AL13SXB and the self-encrypting AL13SXQ. Toshiba's 2.5-inch form factor AL13SXB and AL13SXQ have 15mm z-height and spin at speeds of 15,000 RPM, which makes the AL13SX series ideal for mission critical enterprise storage applications.
Toshiba America has announced new additions to the enterprise capacity hard disk drives, the AL13SXB and the self-encrypting AL13SXQ. Toshiba's 2.5-inch form factor AL13SXB and AL13SXQ have 15mm z-height and spin at speeds of 15,000 RPM, which makes the AL13SX series ideal for mission critical enterprise storage applications.
The AL13SX series are available in 300GB and 450GB capacities as well as 600GB, which delivers high performance while supporting industry standard 512n sector lengths in a space efficient 2.5-inch form-factor. Additionally, the 4K native sector and 512e emulation models of the drives include Toshiba’s persistent write cache technology to improve data integrity and performance. The AL13SX HDDs support high storage density, which saves rack space and reduces mission critical storage footprint and operational burden for enterprise customers.
