Tyan Announces Thunder SX TN76-B7102 Edge Server

TYAN announced today at the annual Computex event in Taipei the completion of its GPU server line with the release of the Thunder SX TN76-B7102 edge server. The TN76-B7102, a 2U dual-socket 2nd gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor-based storage platform, supports up to four NVIDIA T4, 24 DDR4 DIMM slots, and maximum expansion up to 8 standard PCIe slots. It aims to provide improved process and response times to data through its low-latency architecture between device and analytics endpoints.

The TN76-B7102, a 2U dual-socket 2nd gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor-based storage platform, supports up to four NVIDIA T4, 24 DDR4 DIMM slots, and maximum expansion up to 8 standard PCIe slots. It aims to provide improved process and response times to data through its low-latency architecture between device and analytics endpoints.

TYAN, a subsidiary of MiTAC, partnered with NVIDIA on the new edge server, integrating NVIDIA’s powerful EGX platform, which is to provide low-latency AI computing with an advanced, light-compute platform. Designed with the enterprise in mind, companies are able to quickly and securely deploy AI from edge to the cloud.
