The alliance merges Ventana’s top-tier Veyron RISC-V CPU processor with Imagination’s fully featured GPU IP, offering integrated solutions within SoCs or as standalone GPU chips/cards. This synergy ensures the efficient operation of Imagination GPUs with RISC-V CPUs, targeting client operating systems in mobile and automotive markets, thereby lowering industry risks and accelerating market entry.
Balaji Baktha, the CEO of Ventana, notes the growing interest from customers in adopting RISC-V for Client and Automotive applications. The partnership aims to cater to these sectors with comprehensive platform solutions that combine Ventana’s leading Veyron CPUs and Imagination’s esteemed GPUs.
