Western Digital has quietly updated their Caviar Blue lineup with three hard drives that support the SATA 6Gb/s interface and increased cache.
To this point WD only sold a single Caviar Black in a 1TB capacity with support for the SATA 6Gb/s interface. The refreshed Caviar Blue drives come in 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacities and feature 32MB cache and Advanced Format support.
The Caviar Blue line is generally sold through channel partners and found in desktops sold at retail by Dell, HP and others.
